Well whoever is member 2 needs to be reviewed. And probably you will need to edit the config file to change it to somebody else.

The main administrator user ID (Super Admin) is set to 2. I wonder if the old owner is still the Super Admin. The company was recently sold (not sure if it were a hostile takeover or not.

Thanks. Here is something interesting. I think anyway. 11 of the 14 that were automatically made PMs in the CP are on the Top Posters List. Yes we are a vain group. I am proud to say I just went over 9,000 to little or no fanfare I might add, lol.

Good question and I had to test it myself to be sure. In the 7.x version,Yes they can make anyone a admin or delete them as a admin ,but they can't change the super admin. Which in case you did not know is entered at: Control Panel » Primary Settin

It is default to users. I actually wonder if it would be easier to make the limit on PMs 500 for everyone. That would solve the whole problem, although there really hasn't been much of a problem yet. I guess if all 3,000 members had 500 PMs, it may

That's helpful. OK, so the story. Sorry if it's boring, but maybe you can help more. On our board for Electronic Medical Records and Physicians, there used to be I (Admin), one global mod, and three mods. Everything worked great, the new version got

Well they don't get checked by themselves. So I don't know why. But as far as the user group. Usually everyone is a member of the users group since it is the default member group when you install UBB. Normally you would want everyone to be a member o

Thanks Ruben, I should have said there was a zero. Wish it were that easy. Those that have access to the control panel wouldn't pick 14 random users. Very strange. I actually did think of what you said. Also, if it were an auto promotion, may as

FYI, Only the super admin has complete access. Other admns can't change the super admin Others that are added with cp access have some additional limits. Don't ask what they are,But I do know there are several cp options missing.

It could be you added a post count to the new group which would auto promote members to the group when they exceed that count value. Control Panel » Group Management Set it to 0 or blank. There is a note on that screen about that feature. Or somebo

The member queue isn't linked with this option; so short answer is that only users with "full cp access" can manage this option.

Well you are going to need someone to take a peek under the hood. Gizmo is lurking here now. I would ask him. Or open a support ticket. I would suspect you have a bad or missing file. I do recall there were some issues with the language files early

@Ruben: I dont have the problem with the "new class moderator". I uploaded alle the files (from version 7.5.7) to my server again and set the permissions (directory 0777 + files 0666) like the upgrade guide said. The problems still exist

From what I remember, everything for the 'front end' was completed and ready to go. The only thing that needed to be done was the 'Installer'. Obviously, there are other issues.

Well another great experience with them. I had a self inflicted issue and after submitting a ticket. Tom took care of it and moved my domain as asked and corrected the config.inc.php file without asking. Before I could respond. Wow!

First you are talking two different animals. Upgrading from a 6.5 database to 7.x is different than upgrading within the 7.x series. You will need to use a importer from the members area. If you already ran the upgrade script with the proper existin
