My instruments

My John Lennon Signature Rickenbacker Guitar, 12 String PImmentel, and 100 year old Hamilton Upright Grand piano. The amp is a VOX AC-30 Top Boost like the Beatles used in the early days.

Nice Rick! cool (the guitar, but our Rick is cool, too laugh ) I almost got one years ago, but ended up with a Les Paul. Plus the VOX amp - you're definitely a Lennon fan. cool

Never heard of an "upright grand" though whistle wink

The sound board is similar to that of a grand (probably more like a baby grand) but it sits upright instead of horizontal. The idea was to have a piano with the sound quality of a grand that could fit in a smaller space.

I almost bought a Les Paul once, but at the time I could not afford it. That Pimmentel 12 String was hand made by Robert Pimmentel in there small factory in Albuquerque, NM. Their specialty is classical guitars and they make some of the best in the world.

I'll look into a Pimmentel when I look for a new acoustic. I got my Les Paul used (it's a '78 I think), in the mid-late 80's for like $400. It's probably worth 3x that now. cool

Not sure why I can't use the [img] tag here (??)

I remember spending like $50 for one years ago (15 or so?)... picked up one for a dollar at the dollar store for my kid a few days ago and had a chuckle...
