Hi,

I can't see the new topics when I log in, and so are any other user on my ubb ( http://ogl.co.il/cs/forum.asp) .

All the folders are yellow although I haven't seen them. They are either all red or yellow, but never reflect the true meaning (yellow for read, red for unread).

Can anyone help?

It is difficult, if not completely impossible to properly diagnose most UBB problems without knowing which version of the UBB you are using, as well as the EXACT URL to your Ultimate.cgi, (NOT a link to your webpage). Please provide this information. Thanks.

Your powered-by message is hidden.

This is a direct violation of the UBB license agreement.

You will not receive support here until the powered by message is restored to a visible color, as required by the UBB license agreement.

Charles, THERE is a link to your site, and in the image format as suggested by the installation process. The version is hidden since some of the dumb users on my site tend to use everything they can against the system. It's only the version number - the image IS and ALWAYS HAS BEEN there and connected to your site.

Now can I please get an answer?

It is a requirement of the license that the entire powered-by notice be fully visible.

If you wish to hide the powered-by notice, please contact Infopop concerning a seperate license. To the best of my knowledge, such a license costs about $750.

As you are refusing to comply with the UBB license agreement, I will now direct you to the support ticket system for all further support concerning this issue.

Thank you for restoring the Copyright and Powered by to your board. The answer to your question may be held in the Browser that you are using: Some Netscape browsers seem to have a more difficult time with Javascript cookies than others.

We went around and around on cookies for awhile and basically the IE cookies and implementation work just dandy - Netscape can be iffy.

Thus - the best thing that you can try is to look to see if you have a corrupted cookie floating around.

On your message board click the "Prefrences" link and choose "Delete all cookies associated with this site" and then choose 'yes'. This should kill the cookie. Login again and do your thing - try the cookies again in a few hours and see if that helps.
