Hi,

This is on 5.45c

In my forum settings I currently have

Completely Private - Read/Write
[x]Restrict Viewing and Writing of Posts To Admins, Moderators and other authorized* users

[x] Maximum Security


I want to un-check the "Restrict Viewing and Writing of Posts To Admins, Moderators and other authorized" box so the forum can be viewed by all without logging in. After I do this I update the threads but I lose all the previous threads within the category.

Is there any way to un-check this box so that everyone can view the threads without logging in and not lose all the previous information?

Any help or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

As 5.45c lacks the Move Topics utility in the control panel, there's not really much you can do without resorting to manually moving the topic files.

Upgrading would work...
