Problem:
Registered user tried to post a reply
to a thread and UBB told them:

"Sorry, we could not post your reply to this topic. Contact your bulletin board administrator and inform them that they may have may run out of available disk space. Their web host may be preventing them from posting new files. "

We have abundant disk space so that is not
the cause of the problme. Why is UBB generating this message? How do I fix the
problem?

It has only been reported by one person.

Thanks for your help.

This error occurs when your server informs the UBB that it can not create a new file for the thread.

However, the version you are using contains a few issues, including inaccurate or inprecice error messages, that may be hiding the true issue.

Please check with your host to ensure you do not have a file quota. If you do have a file quota, you will need to have it raised or prune some posts from your UBB.

After this issue has been resolved, it would be very wise to upgrade.

Charles,

We do not have a file quota and we manage
our own server so we are planning to upgrade
the software soon to solve this problem.

Thanks for pointing out that our version
has some imprecise error messages.

I also appreciate your quick response!
