Anybody know if this can be done easily? Or is this a hack situation?

I'm curious about this as well.

I currently assist in administrating the UBB on a company lan and when we upgraded to the lasted version of UBB, granted there were quite a number of version hops, the feature on the main bulletin board page of checking for the last certain number of posts was no longer available. This was somewhat dissappointing.

No longer is there a quick and easy way to see what has been posted to the bulletin board when returning from a weekend. Currently if nothing has been posted after midnight, there won't be an topics displayed. Having to go through each individual forum to check for the past number of days is quite cumbersome. Especially if the forums are moderated.

If someone from Infopop could assist with this topic, your answers would greatly be appreciated.

If converting that code is not an option, how & what would code would you add in to get the last 20 or 30 posts right above or below the "Last Active Posts"?

Ok..

Last 20 or 30 posts on the main page would require a code hack. Probably something similar to the dailyindex file except just the last 20/30 threads posted to..

Elmcam: check your preferences. You should be seeing light bulbs next to the forums to see which forums have new posts since you last visited. Also, the drop down list that restricts to posts from the last x days is config'able from preferences..

Unless I missed your point..
