We had a mongoloid spammer post two topics on the forum today.

Although a moderator deleted the threads, they still show in the Recent Topics list.

clear cache - that should wipe them out

Are you referring to my browser cache? Or the admin (such as of this board) clearing the cache in control panel?

I'd think we'd want that list to eventually show true data, without action from the user or admin.

The difference was I asked him to clear the cache manually, rick set it to clear automagically upon post deletion. Used a big hammer on a medium issue in that your cache is gone now and has to be rebuilt Might be handy to clear parts of the cache and not all - in classic we could clear the parts we needed clearing.

that would be nifty wouldn't it...

just want to mention that these topics weren't deleted, just moved, so wanted to make sure that we didn't get a problem with deleted topics too
