5.4 PERL beta 1 released

Just posted the beta of 5.4 PERL version into the registered users area. Hopefully this should be a fairly smooth beta, but please report any strange behaviour.

Thanks to MTO and jrihi for the work on the icons. Thanks to everyone else that helped worked the kinks out with the new features and bug spotting.
