Version 4.4b4 has been released. The admin section has been changed to static english to reduce the size of the language files. Also 2 other major changes have been done to optimize the program.

Currently the 2 heaviest used scripts are wwwthreads.pl and showpost.pl. Both of these scripts are fairly large and serve dual purposes. wwwthreads.pl lists all the forums or it can list the individual posts. showpost.pl can show the posts in flat or threaded mode. Because of these options the scripts are pretty big and have to do quite a few calculations to know what to display. So, wwwthreads.pl has been split into 2 scripts. wwwthreads.pl (lists the individual forums) and postlist.pl (lists the individual posts). showpost.pl has been split into showflat.pl (show posts in flat mode) and showthreaded.pl (showposts in threaded mode). Both of these changes reduced the script size in half and cut down on a large amount of calculations. The end result will be quicker execution of these smaller more streamlined scripts.

Although the include files are still in the include directory. The following include files are no longer used. welcome.include, menu.include and usermenu.include have been integrated into the program for language reasons. Header.include and footer.include are still used and you can still change them as needed. The rest are part of the language files in the languages directory.
