There should be an option when the post is created to make it sticky, instead of requiring the user to post, view it, edit it, and then click the Make Sticky button.

Now, I understand that the sticky option is limited to certain groups, but we use them all of the time, and it is a pain to have to go through 4 steps to create a single post(1 step).
