The daily emails of new postings would be better if a summary of the contents was at the start of the email which simply lists the contents by the subject line. This way a reader can scan through a list and see if any items interest them.

In addition, when someone first signs up to a board's daily email list are all the historic mails sent with the first one? It would be better if the administrator (or the user) could set a limit (for example, the last 20 posts) for their first digest.

I think I have found the solution to the first suggestion (I can't test it yet because I need to configure the script further for my VServer!)...

Below the section that sarts with:
