After converting a UBB Classic forum to UBB Threads I'm VERY happy with the management tools in UBB Threads! My complinments to the person(s) who designed the layout and did the scripting!
Now for a few ideas on how to make it better:
1) Most people are not SQL experts, but there are some bassic database functions that should be easy to script into Threads with options to use them in the Admin section. Things like choosing a default directory for backups and logs, a menu option to backup the database, a menu option to turn logging on, an option to restore from a backup and an option to apply / flush the transaction log.
2) The ability to upload files needs more control. I'd like to allow my admins / mods the right to upload any size file they want, while at the same time restict or disable normal users.
3) There needs to be a better "map" of what style sheet properties control what areas of the forum. The one included in the online documentation does not list all properties and is difficult to read.
4) Users in Classic had the ability to change there public name, but I don't see the option in Threads. Not a big problem until, like me, you merge a CLassic member base to Threads...
Please don't misunderstand: I think Threads is great! Kepp up the good work!
