how about an option to disable the preview post / attach file screen? this way, where a user would normally see the "preview post" button, a "submit post" button would appear instead. this would potentially simplify the function of a board, especially if file attachements weren't a highly utilized feature. i find the preview screen sort of an annoying delay. i think that if the user wants to preview the post, they will do it in the text box before they ever hit submit.

now that i think about it, this would be pretty damn easy to hack on my own. though, it would be a nice feature to add to the next release anyway, so we don't have to rehack it. we could just add a couple of new buttons to the "make a reply" screen so the user can choose every time. for example, we could have "submit", "preview", "clear" and "attach file" buttons. this could be further refined with an admin option to disable / enable any of these buttons.
