I never got as many mails about people having lost their details as after crossgrading to threads. The password recevory method in use is too tedious a task for many. Not to mention most don't even realise they can sroll down in the login screen to start the procedure by using the form.

It would be nice to have a certain option that users can just click a link to reactivate their account with the new details, without having all that typing. Most get the password okay (although some have changed email address but okay... won't go there) but find it's kind of difficult to enter it correctly. Especially with the randomly generated ones.

I know this is mainly because of the MD5 coding, but there must be easier ways to organise the recovery procedure. A straight link to activate their account rather than having to type it all would be superb and get rid of a lot of emails.
