What percentage of the users understand something like "this message is limited to 10000 bytes"?
I´d bet not more than 3%.
Everyone understands KB better, thats what they see at their computer -windows at least. This would probably bring the percentage up to 50%, that at least is better.
Even I have to do math every time I see something like this and then I am in doubt...
