Right now, with 6.2.3, I see a lot of attachments that have apparently died during upload or exceeded the forum limit and don't exist. It would be nice if this were to be detected and handled. PHP has a page on Error Handing for file uploads here: http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.errors.php

It would also be nice to have the file extension or a change in the icon to show what type of attachment it is. Equally nice would be a file size indication.

Great suggestions.

I had done a mod quite a while ago that showed different icons based on the file's extension. So the icon showed you what type it was. It also showed you the size of the file... which was handy if you allow large files posted. The people with dial up really appreciated it.

I'd like to see that stuff standard as well.
