I've tried installing ubb.classic 6.3 twice now. I know all the directories are in the proper place and all the chmod settings are correct because I've double, triple, quadruple checked them but I still get this error. The first time I visited cp.cgi I configured the basic directories thing and everything. Pressed continue it said it was done properly and you need to press continue or whatever to continue on to the control panel and begin configuring the actual board. As soon as I did that I started getting this error and now every time I go to cp.cgi it brings this error up.

Check that the NonCGI/Templates directory is in place, and that public_common.pl has been properly uploaded, IN ASCII. (Reupload that file if necessary)

Thanks man, that worked. I guess for some reason when i uploaded it the first (few) times it didn't catch all the subdirectories
