CHMOD is right and the path to pearl is right (cp.cgi works ok)

What is the URL to your UBB? Do you have access to your error log?

Recheck the permissions again and ensure that ultimatebb.cgi is set with 755 permissions, ensure the perl path is correct (if cp.cgi works, compare the perl path with the one in ultimatebb.cgi), and ensure that it has been uploaded in ascii.
