I can understand that this is not easy to handle in cache systems. What do you think about creating a cache for each language in separeted directories?
The workaround of the language switch problem is now to setup more then one board for the same database in different directories. Each setup in its own language. With this you have to setup a portal page who let the user decide witch language he like. Just a workaround but maybe a begin of a possible integrated solution.

[Re: Zarzal]
I've got the same problem, running one forum in German, English and Spanish with one installation. This means we have to close two of the forums, or stay with v6.5. I don't like both ideas either. This was an important feature of UBB.threads.
The only way I see is to use different cache directorys. It doesn't make sense to maintain two ore more installations of UBB.threads.

What I'm hoping/thinking to do for 7.1 is having the language strings included dynamically in the cached files. I'm doing this now for the style settings. This will require moving some of the language strings around and should allow for us to bring back the multiple language options.
... should allow for us to bring back the multiple language options.
I appreciate that!
Another problem regarding the language, is there a chance the post button images will be changed back to text with a small icon? That would make it much easier for the people running multilanguage sites. I'm just asking to know if I have to modify this by myself, or if there is a chance to see this coming back in v7.1.

If I can find a way to use some CSS to make them look halfway decent, then yeah, these will probably revert back to text, maybe with just the little image next to each one. Can't say for sure at this point though.

I agree, I was kinda bummed when I realized that this was one of the features that didn't make it in (especially since the private group was helping with initial feature requests)
