Ok, I've tried everything. I followed the instructions and I get as far as the part where it tells me to check the paths of those three files, then run the ubb6_test.cgi script. This is where the problem lies. I get an "internal server error." I went back and played with the perl paths and finally put in the one you recommended. It didn't work. Everything that needs to be chmoded is chmoded. What else is there to do? Frustrated. Juan

Your UBB5 board appears to be functioning fine. Whichever perl path you are using for the UBB5 board, use it for the UBB6 board.

Recheck the permissions again and ensure that all files except images have been uploaded in ascii.

Ok, I'm almost there. I can access ubb6_test.cgi. All tests passed. Now, I went to ubb_upgrade.cgi and it says my board is already upgraded? What's that about?

I'm now stuck on this part. I can't access the control panel. I get an error. Help. www.boxingfanatics.com/cgi-bin/cp.cgi

All tests pass but I get this error message when trying to access the control panel. Any ideas?

[/QUOTE]Kristi, the upgrade worked but my forum and control panel keep on having problems every now and then. A few minutes ago, I was getting an error message when I tried to access both the forum and the control panel. I just tried it again and now it works. Why do you think it is doing that?
