Based on that info, what is my perl path? Or is that the wrong way to find it?

Your UBB5 board appears to be functioning fine. Whichever perl path you are using for the UBB5 board, use it for the UBB6 board.

Recheck the permissions again and ensure that all files except images have been uploaded in ascii.

Ok, I'm almost there. I can access ubb6_test.cgi. All tests passed. Now, I went to ubb_upgrade.cgi and it says my board is already upgraded? What's that about?

It's also not functioning correctly as of the moment.

Sounds like your server might be going up and down... You might want to check with your webhosting provider and see if they can give you information on the performance.

It means that you've exceed the space that your webhost provided for you. You'll need to contact them and ask them for more. You can tell that this is not just affecting your board, as your email is down as well.

This doesn't mean that you have to change hosts... You can simply ask your host for more space.

Kristi, I'm going to switch. This particular host doesn't support message boards well. They shut down my Yabb last week and I've had problems with my UBB there as well. It's time to switch to a host that supports UBB. Thanks for everything.

Kristi, I want to thank you and everyone for all of your help. I dropped my old host and went with a new one that I know for a fact does support UBBs. I read the reviews in here and I asked them.

I reinstalled my UBB on the new server today and all went well. I am currently testing all of the features and I've yet to encounter a problem. I'm crossing my fingers. I can't believe how easy it has become to install a UBB. I once thought I could never do it. Thanks to all of you I now know a lot of the language that goes with the installation.
