Hello!

My provider (Schlund here in Germany) gives me 6 seconds processor-time for cgi-scripts.

Does anybody know if this is enough to convert V5 to V6?

Greetings
Wolfgang

You might want to wait until 6.0 is out of beta before considering an upgrade, Just In Case.

If your existing UBB runs fine within that limit, then UBB6 should be able to do the same.

Hello!

My question also ist, if the conversion-scripts will work in that time limit.

Greetings
Wolfgang

The upgrade script merely reads your old variables files and created variables files in the new format. Since you are breaking 4 very small text files into many smaller text files it should run in under 6 seconds easily. Your original variables files are not changed nor are your other data files. If the conversion script fails to run in under 6 seconds your original UBB should still function normally.
