#148359 - 04/20/01 02:31 PM %Config

I'm the designated NT guy helping with a friend's UBB site.

We had 5.x up for quite some time with no hiccups (after fixing some IIS stuff that wasn't UBB's fault.)

Moved to 6.04b two days ago. Installation went fine, execpt for two things:

1. People bitching that it's slow. I've seen the posts about this and will chill for several days and see if it gets better.

2. When sending a private message, the administrator gets a page worth of Perl compilation errors back. The gist of the errors is this: '%Config requires explicit package name'. Like many NT guys, I'm an APS guy not a Perl guy. I know enough about Perl to navigate around and have fixed several problems in the initial installation, but this one appears to have reached my limit. I can find no reference to a %Config variable anywhere. Can anyone help?

Paul

I think I found it. I mistakenly put the Config Net module in the main cgi-bin area...
