If you have any additional profiles added because of hacks be sure they are gone before you try to upgrade or you wont be happy..

there are very simple ways to get around that. I think ubb6 may have easy field additions also.

Looks like we'll just have to face the problem when it happens.

We already have figured t out this morning but you need to get rid of those hacks by either manual methods or use the deletehackline.pl and fromline16backup.pl
but only on a clean board you need to upgrade to a 5 series board and then to 6
Any other way s going to be tough because 6 has alot of profile fields

I'd personally advise not upgrading at all until 6.0 comes out of Beta... Hacked boards are risky enough without trying to install possible unstable software over them.

Charles your right I had 60 plus hacks on my board I upgraded to 547d and used the .pl files we made this morning and all hacks appear to be gone I know theres some traces I am going to test this therory on an active board. Anybody else doing this, you could have a problem but if your bull headed here we go
