OK, I'm running win2k Server. And am planning on hosting my web site on my home computer.
I have the hello.pl and hello.cgi running properly.
My problem is running the ubb6_test.cgi script.
I get these errors:

Software error:
Invalid [] range "a-Z" in transliteration operator at Modules/vars.pm line 17.
For help, please send mail to this site's webmaster, giving this error message and the time and date of the error. Content-type: text/html

I have no idea how to set the system permission to fix them.
or even if it is a permission error.

This is a bug in the version you're using - delete the cgi-bin/Modules/vars.pm file to correct the bug.
