This may be the same problem described in the "Disappearing Topics", but I got told off for "Me Tooing" last time is stated I had the same problem.

I had a few members say that pages were loading up blank and some got the error "cant find details for member no. 00000162".

It turned out that a handfull of posts and member files had become 0 bytes (empty), and yes - that includes member 162.

I have also had reports of the whole forum dissappearing for short periods - although I can not be sure this is UBB related.

I am running version 6.04f at www.migubb.co.uk

Thanks.

Notabug. Moving to UBB6 PIT.

It sounds like you've come up against an out of space condition - check out your noncgi/Forum# directories for other zero-sized files...

No point starting a new thread, so here goes...

My site ran into a situation where I ran out of space recently. This also happened to coincide with my upgrade from 5.47 to 6.04f.

As a result of this a few members files were written blank. I have something like 306 members but #286 and #288 are blank as a result of me running out of space on my account. New registrations continue to come in without any problems, but what should I do with those two blank files? Erase them?

There is ALWAYS a point in starting a new thread! Keeping your issues seperate from those of someone else is both practical and easy to do. Please start a new thread.

Sorry people, it turned out to be a faulty disk on the server (CWIHosting). It took 3 days worth of complaining for them to figure out the disk was at fault. Server responce time still ins't great either.
