Hello all,

I'm sot sure what has happend, but somehow the first (and largest) forum on my UBB board running version 6.3.0.1 is not displaying the correct number of topics and post. It currently says 4 topics and 10 post, when there should be thousands of them.

Also, some post in the index are pointing the wrong post, some of them from 2 years ago??????

I was thinking that I should rebuild the forum stat files and then rebuild the search index from control panel, but I wanted to consult with the experts first.

What should I do?

BTW, all of the post seem to still be there. I'm not sure but I think something might have happended with my ISP on Firday, June 27th because there are no post from that day.

First check that there are no 0-byte files in the ForumX directories (at least for those files that correspond to the topics), and then rebuild your forum stat files.

I don't know how this happend, but the forum now seems to be displaying close to the correct amount of topics. Did this by itself! There are still missing post, however.

I will check to see if there are any 0 byte files and then rebuild the stats.

The UBB can automagically rebuilds the stats when it detects something is wrong with the forum. That's probably what happened.

I would advise upgrading to 6.3.0.1.
