all imported refers to Post0

If I do a new answer to an imported post the link is correct:
...ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/79320/page/0#Post79320

Should I clarify my problem a little bit more or it is clear what is my problem right now?

give you an announce when it is fixed? The error is still in the last version (greamlins fixed). Importing of poll results is still missing too. Poll itself is imported but I can vote again and all results are gone.

There is also an issue with the posting counter. In the memberlist I see on my imported user 1 posting (Äwas made after importing in V7) and if I look to all posts of this user with the link in his profile I see 3 postings. This belongs nearly all my users.

This problem still exists in B5 and the latest importer. I test it today and still have invalid posting chains. I cant use threaded view, all "re:" are invalid. I import from Threads V6.5.5

What can I do ?

I'm not sure if there *is* a fix for this, well at least not one that wouldn't double the amount of time an import takes as it would need to look up the post # for every imported post. Working on this today to see if there is some way to do this without dramatically slowing the import process.

For me is time no big problem. The only thing is that my internet connection disconected every 24h once a time. A bigger problem for me is loosing the chain. I hope you can find a fix. Without it is a big problem for me to go to version 7.

Ok, I think I have this figured out. I was tracking parent posts afterall, but there was a bit of a bug in several places so it was just setting everything to 0.

I try the importer for RC1. The thread view chain seems to be better, but not final. The chain itselfs show to be correct but the "re: " contains wrong usernames but it links to the correct posting.

Gotcha, forgot to lookup the new uid for who is being replied to.

I test the final Release and the import now looks good. Poll problems are gone.
