I figured I would post this here since this seems to be a specific problem in recent visitors or more over pntf. Users are listed multiple times so it will read user1, user2 and 7 guests. so in recap if there are 2 users or ten does not matter the guest number jumps up exponentially recording everywhere they have been as guests and lists them as well once.

Should one change the IP identify per instance from the default 10 to 1?. Is this not suppose to be a superior implementation of who's online

The record data is kept inside the PNTF datafile (noncgi/cache/pntf/now.cgi)

If you have a lot of users that do not allow cookies, you should probably reduce the UNIQs per IP to 2 or 3. That will reduce the inflated guest numbers.
