Is it preferred to have this enabled or disabled?

Disabled : Page Generation. 2.33 sec
Enabled : Page Generation 0.162 seconds

Its staying wiched on lol...

So you actually have numbers, when I enabled zlib on UBBDev's version 7 forum, it dropped page size from 108KB to 12KB

If you're using a host that has a server running something newer than a pentium II 400 I don't think you'll hear that complaint.
