Had a programmer install, and we paid for, the UBB last September. As of this week, (not sure exactly what day), no one could access our bulletin board on gorowlett.com. Everything seemed to be working fine until then. We even started to finally get people inputting and asking to post onthe Bulletin board! Can some one tell me why when I click on the link to go to the bulletin board I get the following:


The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

Can't open perl script "D:inetpubgorowlettwwwcgi-binUltimate.cgi": No such file or directory

Has the link changed? Or, my greatest fear, maybe the programmer charged us for licensed material and we did not get the license, only paid him $200.00 for partial rights to the programming. We no longer do business with this person. Please Help!

Okay, first, you're using UBB5, not 6, so I'm moving this to the UBB5 PIT forum.

Second... That error indicates that IIS was unable to find your UBB at the location it should be. This could be because it was moved or deleted.

If you suspect your ex-programmer has removed your UBB, please contact navaho@infopop.com or piracy@infopop.com so they can look into whether this person has tried to rip off others...
