I had a user with the flashing PM notification. I removed his user .cgi and his notify .cgi - but didnt save them IS there a maintainance festure that will consolidate the topics etc and clean up the PM's or shoul;d I not worry about it ?

The user has a PM that is corrupt or from a user that doesn't exist. Open up a ticket and ask that we run the PM inbox rebuilder script, or that it be assigned to me. The rebuild should take care of the problem.
