Every time my server goes down, we lose data. If someone is sending a PM, their pm_topics file is saved as empty and they get an error every time they go to their profile. We have had member files saved as blank so they "disappear" and posts disappear as well.

Is there any reason for this? I have asked our server and they say there is no reason for that to happen. Is there a reason perhaps with the board that causes this and is there a way around it?
