just installed new version 7.

whenever any of my pages loads in IE, a little message appears in the bottom left status line saying that the page was "Done, but with errors on page", the error being that it "expected ;".

You have some html in your body onload field that's causing that error:

bgcolor=white marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0"

The onload is for javascript only. This should go into your style in the body field.
