I'm getting weird behavior when adding the following custom content island:

PHP:
/* BODY HERE */ $body = <<<EOF <IFRAME name="apciframe" id="apciframe" style="width:125;height:195;" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="http://affiliates.allposters.com/PosterStore/359443_PosterStore.asp" scrolling="no" frameborder="0"><A class="APCAnchor" HREF="http://affiliates.allposters.com/link/redirect.asp?AID=45088&PSTID=5&LTID=16&TID1=2">Buy Posters at AllPosters.com</A></IFRAME> EOF;

The iframe dimensions are width:125;height:195; but if you take a look at it, it's making the sidebar much wider than 125px...

Why is this, and, where can we force the width of the left column if we wanted to?

Thanks!

JG

You'll want to move the width and height of the iframe into direct properties. It doesn't appear setting them in the style works. So the html should look like this:

Code:
<IFRAME width="125" height="195" name="apciframe" id="apciframe"  marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="http://affiliates.allposters.com/PosterStore/359443_PosterStore.asp" scrolling="no" frameborder="0">
<A class="APCAnchor" HREF="http://affiliates.allposters.com/link/redirect.asp?AID=45088&PSTID=5&LTID=16&TID1=2">Buy Posters at AllPosters.com</A>
</IFRAME>

As for increasing the width of the columns. Right now that would take a change to libs/ubbthreads.inc.php. Around line 202 you'll see where the width of the columns are set depending on the portal layout.
