I'm working through the documentation, customizing this and setting that - everything is going fine until I get to the bit in the documentation which says 'Note: before the Portal will display on your UBB.threads™, you must first enable it in the Portal Settings area of your control panel.'

So I admit defeat ... where do I enable it? I can't find anything about the portal at all...

It should be under Portal -> Portal Settings -> Enable the Main Portal Page. That is if you are running version 7. If you're running 6.5.5 you won't see anything because we didn't have a portal builtin to that version

Yep, that's the problem, I have 6.5.5 - shouldn't I have 7? You installed it yourself yesterday

I think this was actually done last week if I'm looking at the right install ticket, before we had 7.0 available for purchase. If you can reply to the original install ticket so I know which one it is for sure, I can take a look.

Since this was right on the borderline and it's a new install, we can possibly work something out if you'd rather be running version 7 now (though as you can see there are quite a few bugs being fixed with this first release ). If this is something you'd like to consider though, go ahead and reply to the original install ticket and we can figure something out.
