So store the html copy then striptags for things like email or to display, then use the html version where it normally is?

not entirely sure where all the non-html version is utilized, just ideas hehe

ok i made the changes now I have this

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_LNUMBER in /homepages/1/d118328893/htdocs/clubadventist/forum/admin/dosendemail.php on line 3

I am hoping to email this am for my weekly mailing to the members

If you're running 7.0.2 then you don't need to make these changes. The best thing I can recommend is to upgrade to the latest version so you have all of the fixes.

OK I did the upgrade... thanks

NOW I can not email to groups such as Moderators and Admins... seems to me that was fixed in 7.0.1

We are doing a live interview tonight, and would like to email all the moderator reminding them...
