Also in "Moderator notification of post" emails, and I'm sure most emails. We REALLY need a Text Only / HTML email option in control panel....

Shouldn't be too hard, just have an option to send the post through striptags or not before emailing it

The notify moderator one is fixed by grabbing the post as the user entered it instead of the marked up post. Basically change line 91 of scripts/donotifymod.inc.php

Current it has

POST_BODY

that should be

POST_DEFAULT_BODY

as for the mass emailer....still working on that.

Ok, currently we are sending in plaintext only. So to fix the mass emailer you can edit line 198 of admin/dosendemail.php.

You'll want to remove this line completely:

$mailbody = str_replace("\n","<br />",$mailbody);

Once copy of what, the post? Because striptags wouldn't allow it to be converted back to it's original input by the user. It would just strip all of the HTML so all of the ubbcode would be gone.
