What version of MySQL are you trying to install on? This looks like an error when 6.5 is installed on a MySQL 5 database. 6.5.5 will only support MySQL 3 and 4. You'd need to install UBB.threads 7 in order to install on MySQL 5 if that's what you are running.

Bit grmbl on my site, finally got the time to upgrade the board from ubbclasic to threads.....
