#166955 - 10/23/06 04:17 PM [FIXED for 7.0.1] Possible Community Email Bug

I am suspicious that community emails are still being sent to those who have indicated in their membership profile that they do not wish to receive it.

I received a request from a forum member who requested not to receive community emails. When I checked their profile, they had already stated such there.

Is there a way of verifying this as a problem, and possibly a bug?

easy enough, make a new user account, set the indication to none, then send a message to them...

I tested it out on a user account that I had previously created for various purposes.

It sent the email even though I indicated "no" in the member profile.

Are you working on this bug, Rick, or is there already a fix somewhere that you can point me to?

I think I've found this one. A bit complex to track down properly because the mailer queries are pretty complicated But I've done a few tests and looks like I've fixed this one for 7.0.1

I will be glad when 7.0.1 is released so I can have this bug behind me.
