Does UBB have a file library capability? If not, do you have any suggestions to how one might use the current architecture to accomplish this objective?

Can you explain a bit more what exactly you're looking for? Not quite sure I follow.

Sure... along with needing a discussion forum I also need to have a place where files can be uploaded and displayed in a directory type format that resembles a Windows file structure (w/ folders). Many times I've seen this referred to as a file library. Of course, I realize you can always use a forum for just uploading files to accomplish this task... but it's rather cumbersome. Does that make more sense?

This is not a current functionality of UBB.threads 7.0. You might want to peek around at http://www.ubbdev.com and see if there are any modifications that might serve the function you are looking for. You could always suggest a similar function for threads or as an addon at UBBDev if you cannot find something you are loooking for
