Folks,

If you have content islands on the right hand side of the window only the layout in Safari (Mac OS X) is messed up.

Sample board here:

Cheers,
Richard

Would it be possible to post a screenshot for those of us who don't use Macs?

That helps, thanks! I'll try to look into this tomorrow - there has to be a way to hard-code the width of that column in there somewhere, but so far I haven't found it... :/

P.S. Where's the :/ smilie here?

Hmm, that's odd. It's setting the width of both columns properly, the main body column has a 85% width setting and the right column has a %15 width setting. It even validates ok on the w3c validator site except for a missing alt tag and the onenter tag for the shoutbox.

I'm not sure if there's anything we can do about it as it appears it might be a safari rendering issue, but I'll test as soon as I get a chance.

It looks like the width is set correctly initally - it looks right - then as the full page loads the size suddenly jumps. Might that be a clue?

Right, I know what this was. One pillock of a user typing in a really long word! Can you add a function to automatically break apart words of more than, say, twenty characters?
