Well, we got our family pictures done last night... I tried out the beard trimmer sam got me last year for Christmas, completely butchered myself... #5 setting is like #1 with my old set so my beard got way shorter than what i was prepared to cope with...

The walmart photo center people are awesome I've got to tell you... But don't bother with a picture CD, $10 for a set of low resolution photos that you can do nothing with (they're like 300x500 resolution, snapfish recommends I don't use them) so I have to wait 2 weeks for my prints to come back so that i can scan my own copies to do stuff with lol...

But without further adou, the best photo of the group (feel free to click on the photo to go to the full set; keep in mind that all photos are unadjusted and are exactly as they are from the cd, no resizing has been done, so judge for yourself how small they are lol).

Yeh, he looks at least 4 years older with the beard ;)... hehe...

I was rather suprised at how well the lady worked with my son, he's hyperactive so to get him to sit still... wow lol

I'll probably have a set of photos taken next month with my son and I only (as it was one of the sets I wanted this time but we dind't have the time); at least then my beard should be about where it should be as "trimmed" lol...

I'm not brave enough to post pictures of my family with the trolls and stalkers out there. So the only material they get is my webcam. I've seen some pretty creative photoshopping of my likeness out there. ;\)

lol, I'm used to people "adjusting" photos; in fact if you look hard enough you can find some photo shots i had taken just for that hehe...

I worked for Adobe for a while on Photoshop, our training was actually photo manipulation ;\)

stop that... I just upgrade to 2.3 Suite (Only updated really to Acrobat 8 with it)

I like updates, but spent too much money lately on upgrades. Need a break on spending.

I was a private beta tester for Adobe on CS because I am a former tech (was providing tech support on several versions ;)...

Indeed... A good training manual to get to know basic features is the "Classroom in a Book" book series that Adobe ships out, they're really some of the best "get 'er started" guides that I've seen (and yes, all of the photoshop tech support people are trained using it)
