We recently upgraded to 7.0.2 and a new user is trying to register. All fields are filled in as required and this is the message we get: We cannot proceed.
All of the required fields are not filled in.
Please use your back button to return to the previous page. We've looked through our settings and can't find anything wrong. Suggestions? Fixes? My website is http://realityratpack.com/Thanks!

File/Folder permissions, sessions ?

The permissions checks all say OK, and I know the sessions folder is set to 777
(I'm one of the other admins at the realityratpack boards)

Sorry, really wish I could help you more but I'm fairly new to the software myself. Hopefully one of the Moderators or the Developer will come online soon and maybe they can sort it out for you.

What do you have selected for "require" on the registration settings page of the cp?

Birthday is the only thing that currently has require chosen, everything else says hide. Visible on Who's Online was set as required also, but I changed that when I was trying to figure out what was wrong.

Since you require a birthday to even get to the registration page, it doesn't show the birthday field on the registration page, so its not showing it to be filled in (as its already filled in); turn the birthday required setting off and it should work.

It's an honest mistake, the two settings don't work well together; but once you get it setup properly it works well.

It's an honest mistake, the two settings don't work well together; but once you get it setup properly it works well. I'm new here, but perhaps if this has bitten more than one customer maybe it should be modified to not allow such a mistake or a popup to warn about it at least. .

I reported this as a bug waay back when. I guess it was never addressed. Age Verification and Required Birthdate in registration screen are incompatible.
Stress the system until it breaks. Hey.. it works for Spacecraft.. why not here? UBB since 1999: MonteCarloSS.com

Looks like we only fixed one side of this. We suppress the birthday field if age verification is turned on, but we still check for it when the form is submitted. This will get fixed for 7.1b4.
