Just been checking over my imported topics and I have loads of new sticky posts in the forums that were not sticky before.

I've checked the live site and the topics are not sticky but on the imported site it is sticky now.. These topics USED to be sticky long ago, and were unstuck when they were no longer required, but the import seems to have ignored this and made them sticky again.

I notice that the topics have different topic numbers as well from the original.. does an import change the topic numbers then? If so, this is going to cause havok with search engine historic threads.

Anyone seen this?

Haven't seen the magical sticky but...

id's are re-created from scratch upon import; the import redirectors are set to call the import field in the database to forward to the proper topics.

Actually something else I have noticed on this. They are actually added as Global Annoucements, but only appear in the individual forums they were in as stickies. The only option you have is to remove them as global, not unstick.

Hi,

I had this as well - can't remember which post I posted it in - but I did find a solution \:D

Make the posts sticky - you WILL get an error. Just ignore the error and retun to the forum. You will find that your post is now a sticky.

You can now unstick the post.

I hope this works on your forums.

BTW - this was due to a previous hack as far as I know.
