m only posting thsi here because I needed to add an attachment to show the problem. Strange characters in the Preview window when using Word to spell chack, then cutting and pasting. Example, look what happens to the word "Couldn't" :

Looks like the use of "Curly Quotes" -- I get the same thing in emails from Mac users. :/

I think the currly quotes look really cute, but I don't know if theres a valid ascii code for them...
