I've added a new style to the ones you can select from here. This one's entitled Black and Gold. I did this one for my personal website for 7.1, but a few people have requested it so I've made it available here as well. I'll be packaging this up soon and making it available for download.

Note, that you won't want to use this for 7.0.x, but once you have 7.1 installed then you can use it.

eek - very stylish \:\)

I like \:\) \:\)

Certainly needs a wider screen though, as the sidebars are quite wide, and infact I get a small left to right scroll bar - and I am on IE7 at 1280 * 800.

But very nice \:\)

Looks to be a bit of an IE issue, with the side columns, they are much smaller in Firefox. I'll see if I can fix that up before I package it up for download.

1200 * 800 is an odd resolution. 1280 * 1024 would be a more normal one.

Thanks Rick. So only with 7.1 eh! oh well, thanks again. Hopefully 7.1 won't be too far off.

FWIW - I get a very slight horizontal scroll bar in Firefox 2.0 @ 1024x768 (as opposed to no scroll at all with the standard style) -- LOOKS GREAT, THO!!

I may end up disabling this here for now. It needs some work for sites running with multiple columns turned on like we're doing here. The various graphics that are in use end up making it stretch a bit. I'll turn it back on once I have the time to get things worked out a bit more.

lol, yeah, works well on nice wide monitors. The style would work well for sites with only 1 or no side columns, but when both side columns are on like here, it definitely leads to sidescrolling. I've disabled it for now, don't know if we'll reenable it here since we use both side columns for demo purposes.

Something I noticed at least on my system with this style is that blue lettering is not as easy to read as other colors

But color temperatures of different monitors and video cards makes a difference as well.

Your reply quote looks cleaner than my original - but you have black background not the grayish brown
