it sounds like a mod_security issue, your error log should show any offending strings (and your host should go in and fix it); likely it's because of "curl" but your weblogs should show which it is.

I posted a separate post about this, but I have some members who are getting the 404 error anytime they preview anything (even their signature). They can post just fine as long as they don't try to use the Preview function.

This reminds me of the 404 errors I receive whenever I try to use @ and : when doing an email quote.

I guess I am not the only one having these 404 proplems.

My only solution so far is not to use the @ and : in my email quotes.

My solution is to email Vertexhost and tell them to fix it. I cant see my site, my control panel, or beleave it of not any vertexhost site.

There is also now pages and pages of this stupid post on my site that I cant get in and clean up. I hear it started a new topic, like 10 pages of them.

Yeh, if you're having these issues and it's a result of mod_security the ONLY way of fixing it is to have your host fix the issue; there isn't much a user can due for mod_security issues.
