If I set a file size limit in the Features Settings (Attachments), that seems to limit the size of individual attachments, but I seem to be able to upload as many attachments as I want, as long as each is under that limit. Question - how do I limit the TOTAL files size for attachments, so that in a single post, someone can't upload 100 attachments?

Thanks,
Basil

I dont think its possible mate.

I set my attachement directory under a sub domain,
which if and when it his its limit,
attachements will go offline but the forums continue
to function.

Possible feature suggestion there, to limit
the about of uploads per post.

Up to now this hasnt been abused by my members,
in fact its not used as much as i would like,
which i think its due to images being at the bottom
of the posts and not positioned.

Not possible with the current codeset... As is I believe the system uses a 'Get file size' command that's built into php.

This is a very dangerous shortcoming. I had a user the other day upload about 12 files to several different directories to the tune of several tens of megs.

Rick - Highly recommend some way to limit the number of files of a given file size than can be uploaed to one post.
