I'm just saying email addresses should be private, to everyone, reguard; it should be considered a privacy issue none the less (I mean, i have no problem staffing at sites, but don't want *my* email sent to everyone)...

And look at it this way; what if your mods don't always agree? you're looking at giving users who hate each other a way to reach each other outside of your forums...

Or how about users that are underage and staff? It's a coppa issue there to provide their contact information to others...

I guess I just lucked out w/ my board. I picked Mods that I actually trust, and actually became friends with - so obviously I trust them.

I can't really imagine another scenario, like having Mods I didn't even know or trusted, performing duties on my board, on my behalf... yet not being able to trust them to *handle themselves* in an appropriate manner with EMAIL of all things...

:/

Dag.

Anyway - at the very least - I want a CP *choice* then, to visibly CC all Mods, via email, for *every* occurrence of a reported post. And an option to not. ;\)

haha i could go with a *choice*...

I have mods whos ages range 13-40... Obviously some of the older mods don't like the younger; and obviously I don't want any trouble either on or off of the forums ;)... At least i can monitor it on the forums lol

Well...

My board's been around since '01 -- and there's myself (Admin), my #2 (was Mod, then made Co-Admin), then another Mod of *some* of my forums, another Mod of 1-2 of my forums (but he's now deceased), and 1 other Mod for 1 forum as a tribute.

Needless to say, I don't have much overhead. lol

But one thing I will say is - I sure don't pick Mods willy-nilly at all! If I don't trust them - if they haven't been around for a while - if they haven't demonstrated a true propensity to handle it - and importantly -- if they *ASK* to become a Mod on my board w/o fulfilling those requirements ...they won't be a Mod on *my* board until they meet those requirements... ;\)

As you can see there is a general mood from a few of us to have
the abuilty to "Notify a Post" more than once,
as it is a feature that we miss.

And you can read the scrap above to decide how e-mails
should be sent bcc or other..

Please consider this for a future update please.
I would like to see it come back.
Thanks.

Says Mark trying to clear the thread up ;\)

Got to say I agree with multiple notifications. But needs to be a maximum of one from any one member, to save people repeatedly clicking on the link to cause trouble.
